We have 5 blastocysts on ice! It is a great reassurance to have those babies on ice, just in case this cycle does not work. If this cycle does work, those blasts could be babies #2 or #3- wishful thinking :) It is so weird to think that our potential future babies are in Vegas without their parents! So far, the cycle has been a success. Out of our 13 fertilized eggs, 7 made it to blastocyst stage.
Now comes the difficult part, waiting! I will have blood tests next week and will know if I am pregnant at that point, but we are going to wait until we hear a heartbeat to announce officially. It was really difficult that we had just started telling people we were pregnant last time around, only to find out that I miscarried around 6-7 weeks. A heartbeat doesn't ensure a baby, but it is the point we will be comfortable sharing a pregnancy.
